What is the LBG Journey?
The LBG Journey is for all employees – whether in research, technical, or administrative roles. It offers information, services, and development formats that help you succeed and grow during your time at LBG.
For researchers (students, pre- & postdocs, senior researchers, group leaders), our Researcher Journey provides dedicated support. For leaders (institute heads, group leaders, admin managers, team leaders), the Leadership Journey complements this with tailored programs. -
What does the LBG Journey include?

Onboarding: A structured start with information, resources, and virtual onboarding sessions (held 3 times per year in German and English).

Development: Workshops, trainings, expert talks, and networking opportunities you can select to fit your role and goals.

Individual support: Development talks with your manager, confidential career counseling at the Career Center, and access to coaching and mentoring programs.

Mental health: Programs like the Employee Assistance Program, Mindful Minutes, or Mental Wealth support your wellbeing.
