Expert Talk: Postdoc Careers – Orientation, Planning & Possible Futures

In this online session, we will explore approaches to career orientation, planning and career exploration.

The event will begin with an input on career orientation, possible futures and approaches to exploring career options and directions.

Following the introduction, a divers panel of postdocs will share personal insights into their career journeys, including challenges, key decisions, transitions, and lessons learned along the way.

Expert Talk: Career Perspectives in Research Management

The introduction will be followed by a panel discussion on Research Management as a Profession, featuring professionals from different areas of the field. Participants will gain insights into the diverse roles and responsibilities within research management, including:

  • Pre-Award Management
  • Post-Award Management
  • Transfer and Innovation Management
  • Research Data Management and Data Stewardship
  • Compliance, including Research Ethics
