Motivation to found start-ups in the health sector
“Academia-2-Entrepreneurs (A2E)” aims to motivate students and young researchers from the health sciences and medicine to consider the possibility of founding a company in the health sector.
Young founders are portrayed in video interviews in which they respond to specific questions regarding entrepreneurship from students and young researchers. With these “best practice” models, we want to further promote entrepreneurial thinking at colleges and universities and strengthen the courage to found one’s own start-up.
The project further aims to promote innovative ideas for the healthcare market with the help of experts and supporting programs from EIT Health.
The results will be presented on this site starting in fall 2023.
The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research. The project is carried out by EIT Health Austria, MedUni Graz, FH Campus Wien, University of Continuing Education Krems and the LBG Career Center.
