Yesterday, the LBG Career Center had the honor of recognizing outstanding research leaders at the Leadership Excellence Awards in Research (LExA), held for the second time during the LBG XChange event at Vienna’s Leopold Museum.
Vienna, September 27., 2024 –
This year’s LExA introduced two categories, acknowledging leadership at different stages: Emerging Leadersn and Experienced Leaders.
We are pleased to congratulate the 2024 award recipients:
– Emerging Leader: Dipl.-Ing. Dr.techn. Julia Reisinger, Assistant Professor at TU Vienna and co-founder of Factorymaker.
– Experienced Leader: Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Sabine Köszegi, Head of the Institute of Management Sciences, TU Vienna.
Special thanks to Martin Polaschek, Federal Minister of Education, Science, and Research, for his continued support of this prestigious award.
What sets LExA apart is that nominees are selected by their own teams, reflecting leadership that inspires, supports, and empowers young scientists to lead with purpose. We extend our gratitude to all who submitted nominations, helping us highlight leaders making significant contributions to solving today’s societal challenges.
Here’s to the future of research—driven by inspiring leaders and their exceptional teams.
