We explored the dynamic Austrian labor market, offering tailored guidance for individuals at various career stages, from master’s and doctoral to postdoctoral levels.

Our director Susanne Leeb, kickstarted the event by highlighting the advantages of the Austrian Labor Market. Following this, our esteemed career experts, Mareike Kerschbaum and Christine Hudetz, conducted an engaging workshop. This workshop catered not only to young researchers pursuing careers in academia but also to those seeking opportunities in diverse sectors. Attendees gained valuable insights into navigating their careers in academia and beyond, received expert advice on career possibilities with a PhD, and learned practical steps to define and achieve their individual career goals.

With about 50 attendees, our presentation and workshop were met with resounding success, a sentiment echoed by the positive feedback from the researchers in attendance.
